This recovers the original embedded images at the resolution they were stored at - not pictures of the pages. If you want each page as an image instead, use PDF to Image.
Images stored as JPEG 2000, JBIG2 or CCITT fax (mostly from scanners and fax workflows) can't be decoded here and are reported as skipped rather than guessed at.
